During the presentation, Karoline will talk about edible perennials and their nutritional value, as well as techniques for establishing a food forest and tips for ongoing maintenance.

Karoline works daily to unite biodiversity, climate-friendly food, and healthy eating. Her own garden includes a food forest with over 150 different edible perennial plants, a rooftop garden, and no-dig vegetable beds. Together with her husband, she runs the agroforestry farm Myrrhis, which focuses on vegetable production, perennial vegetables, a nursery, and integrated animal husbandry. Karoline is the co-author of the books "Permakulturhaven" (The Permaculture Garden) and "Mad med Flerårige Grøntsager” (Cooking with Perennial Vegetables).

After the talk, there will be a plant swap, so we encourage everyone to bring seeds and perennials you'd like to exchange for new ones.
